[.].How difficult is it to include the right driver with a new product. Signal strength is excellent. Included driver version is some 1.X and the version on the MSI site is 3.1. Got this card today (06/30/09). Hence the 4 stars, otherwise I would have given 5. It detected my wireless router but when I entered the WEP key, it just wouldn't connect. Added the card in my Dell Dimension desktop running windows XP, and installed the driver from the CD that came with it and it didn't work. Went to the MSI site found the driver for this product and boom it works.
Worked for me on Vista 32-Bit, Vista 64-Bit, and Windows 7 32-Bit.You don't need to install the software, just make sure the disc is in the drive and have Windows search it for drivers.Signal Stregth is awesome, this thing picks up networks in my neighborhood that no other card or laptop will.If you want a no-frills (besides external antenna) card that works, this is the one for you.
Signal is good. Easily installed on Window XP. No any issue found so far (two months).
If we, 2 people who know NOTHING about all this computer stuff can get it to work in less than 5 minutes, anyone can. A snap to install and it works fine. Our G wireless router is 2 floors away and the signal is strong.
did not work with both desktop with xp even download driver from site no help so return it.
